(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these watches for my mother five years ago from an authorized retailer.She wore it only on very special occasions, perhaps a total of 50 hours of combined wear over three years.Then the cheap thing disintegrated.The back of the case fell off and the movement stopped entirely.I mailed the watch into the authorized Longines repair facility, only to be informed that it required over $400 in repairs!I sent an angry letter, and received a belated and patronizing response which informed me that $100 of the repairs were cosmetic, and that I could rejuvenate the watch for the bargain price of $300.As though I would waste any more money on this cheap piece of tin.

Longines is a dinosaur of a company that relies on its previous sterling reputation to keep selling watches of increasingly inferior quality.They couple this poor workmanship with one of the most limited warranties in the luxury timepiece industry.That take-no-prisoners warranty itself should have warned me off this watch when I bought it.

I am out a lot of money.Save your own and go with a better company.
