(More customer reviews)I've lived with this timepiece for three years and it's become a very personal part of "who I am". This timepiece is elegant and understated.Those in the know will stop you and give you a thumbs up.I've had many compliments and it wears well with either Levi's or a Tux.If you don't run with the pack and want to distinguish yourself from the wanna be crowd.This is the one for you.The automatic feature works well, but invest in a good winder.The rose gold is stunning, but I must polish the black band frequently or it will show minor wear and detract from the watch itself.The back is open and is actually a very attractive feature.Pictures just don't do it justice.At this price point, you just can't beat it... I know it sounds nuts, but this is a Good Value for the money...Go for it and you won't look back.

(More customer reviews)If you were to obsess about fine watches and what goes into them and then obsess on how to get the greatest bargain on one, you would find yourself here.

The movement is a swiss Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels.The case and band are titanium, swiss made and water resistant to 200m.The crystals are sapphire front and back.

Compare a Breitling, IWC, or Omega with these characteristics.You could spend $15,000.00 for the same watch with different markings.

Mine is more accurate than expected, and feels lighter.No complaints

(More customer reviews)This watch is the best purchase I have ever made.Unfortunately I didn't realize that it was a woman's watch (Come on, it looks like a man's watch - I mean only a man could understand, let alone appreciate that look).So, now I get razzed by all my other homeless friends.I only gave it a four-star rating though because I have a disorder similar to dislexia - I can't interperet between succesive odd-numbers. So when the minute hand is pointing at one of the dots I get very confused and it makes me late for AA meetings.

(More customer reviews)One of the strengths of Invicta Watch Company is their outstanding design team. Invicta obviously employs a strategy of creating edgy, bold new designs each year and, when the next designs are released, discontinuing the old ones - making them instant collectibles.

In the last few years, the company has embraced a very "Jean-Paul Gaultier" vibe with their very techno-industrial designs, such as the massive Sub Aqua Noma series. The Bolt, part of the upscale Invicta Reserve collection, is an evolution of that effort, maintaining much of the boldness and unabashed masculinity, while creating some dressier nuances to allow the watch to function in many more style settings for the wearer.

The Bolt is distinguished by a very edgy steel-cable bezel - definitely a continuation of the Gaultier influence - and ridged inner links on the upper portions of the bracelet. Yet for all of its industry-chic appearance, the watch benefits immeasurably by the rose gold ion-plating of the cable bezel and oversized crown (the crown, in itself, an iconic symbol of recent Invicta design philosophy). The combination of brushed and polished stainless, complemented by the rose gold accents, give the watch a much more luxurious appearance that softens the hard edges of the underlying design. The result is a watch that looks equally at home in a board room as at a monster truck rally.

Invicta has not scrimped on the real heart of a quality watch - the movement. Sellita's SW200, for all intents and purposes the twin of ETA's venerable 2824, provides sure, reliable timekeeping (in fact, the same movement that Invicta obtains COSC certification for its Reserve Pro Diver collection). Now that Swatch Group has forbade the selling of ETA ebauches outside their corporate family, Sellita's versions of ETA's most popular movements will become much more prevalent in mid-price and up timepieces.

If you are one of the Invicta fans who felt the Sub Aqua Noma was a bit too much of a good thing, you really will appreciate the more subtle appeal of the Bolt. It still says - unmistakably - "manly," but does not scream it in your face.

(More customer reviews)I have always liked automatic watches. I own automatic watches from Seiko, Citizen, Invicta and Tag. The Tag is built like a tank. Things I do not like about my CAF2010: Runs a tad faster - gains about 4 minutes every month - I have to reset the time every month, or find myself going early to meetings sometimes when I dont have my blackberry to dictate time. But thats the case with almost any automatic watch. This one's going to be with me for a lifetime. You learn to live with it - if I wanted digital precision, I would've bought a digital watch at a mere one hundredth of the cost of this watch - but its not about that.
